La începutul acestei săptămâni, am avut ca oaspeți un grup de copii de la Asociația „Ana și Copiii” și am avut plăcerea de a-i învăța despre sustenabilitate, încălzire globală și despre modul în care fiecare dintre noi poate contribui la crearea unui viitor mai durabil. Copiii și-au pus imaginația la lucru și au dat o viață nouă unor obiecte reciclabile. Împreună, am creat iepurași și păuni, pe care i-am pus la dispoziția comunității pentru a le duce acasă sau la birou în schimbul unei donații. Toți banii strânși din această activitate vor merge către Asociația „Ana și Copiii”, unul dintre partenerii noștri anul acesta.

In order to make a difference where it is most needed, in December we supported actions with social impact in various areas developed by NGOs or initiatives such as Maria Beatrice, Help Autism, MAME, Casa Bună, Blondie, Copacul cu Fapte Bune, La primul bebe, ALUZIVA, Magic, Motivation, Volens - Patrula de Reciclare sau Bookland.

165 families from the ASCHF-R community, Bucharest  had a richer meal this Christmas, with the help of our colleagues who packed bags full of the necessary things.

We are glad to have met these wonderful people at the association, who impressed us with their resilience and strength.

The elves of Genesis Property gathered again this year in Santa's Workshop and prepared 50 packages of thick winter clothes, sweets and hygiene products for the children from the "Ana si Copiii" community center in Urlati.

Started in 2007 by WWF and partners, Earth Hour is now one of the world's largest grassroots movements for the environment. Held every year on the last Saturday of March, Earth Hour engages supporters in more than 190 countries and territories, all taking action to ensure a brighter future for people and the planet. 

We are currently hosting refugees from Ukraine in the rooms of the Studio One hotel located inside our business park West Gate Business District.

With the help of our communities, the "Donate a Hot Meal" initiative has been launched, so that we can offer every day a good lunch to the people of Ukraine staying with us.

Since 2019, in collaboration with the Atitudini & Alternative Association, Genesis Property has been inviting employees of resident companies in Novo Park and West Gate to donate clothes, shoes and toys for needy families, in special containers located in our parks. 

We collect clothes and shoes for both adults and children. Atitudini & Alternative Association volunteers periodically empty the containers and distribute items according to usefulness and need.

By helping others, we all grow. During the Christmas holidays, we chose a few of the organisations doing wonderful things and donated a total of €14,000 in cash and goods to:

• “Ana si Copiii” Association: Building the Centre of Excellence in Education for 100 children from disadvantaged social backgrounds
• BookLand Romania Association: Renovating educational institutions in disadvantaged rural areas
• Casa Bună Association: Supporting beneficiaries in areas such as education, health and nutrition or finding a vocation
• Copacul cu fapte bune Association: Building the social day centre for disadvantaged children in Vaslui city
• Motivation Romania Foundation: the Fondul Scaunelor Rulante Project, which donates about 1,000 wheelchairs every year 

Before Christmas, Genesis Property employees disguised as Santa's Elves joined forces and prepared 200 food packages to be delivered to families in disadvantaged communities.

The packages were delivered to the Association "Ana si Copiii" and arrived in the 3 community centers of the association in Bucharest, Fundulea and Urlati.

The funds supported the activity of the hospital and the purchase of materials to protect medical staff and patients with COVID-19.
