YUNITY Park

In 2022, we started the transformation of Novo Park, located in the Northern area of Bucharest, into YUNITY Park, a new real estate concept that will bring together new facilities for future work and urban living trends in a unique space.

The project is expected to be completed in 2023, with a total investment of 50 million euros.

YUNITY Park is designed as a campus-like extension of the office that provides urban support for experiences tailored to people's lifestyles, both during office hours and personal or social time.

YUNITY Park represents the future of life within and beyond the office. It is an urban destination that heavily emphasizes public space, where professional and social lives have equal opportunities for fulfillment.

The area designated for the former parking lot, with a total surface area of 7,500 square meters, is currently being transformed into a redesigned green space. It will include an urban forest, seamlessly integrating spaces for events, recreational experiences, and outdoor work.

More specifically, the space will include:

  • An outdoor amphitheater dedicated to events, with a seating capacity of 220 people in the bleachers
  • An urban forest spanning 1,000 square meters, where employees will be able to hold work meetings
  • A versatile outdoor terrace that will serve a 4,000-square-meter food hall
  • Numerous areas designed for professional interactions and socialization during leisure time

On the inside, the YUNITY Park project will include:

  • Co-working spaces
  • A modern conference center with a total capacity of 540 seats
  • A 4,000 square meter food hall
  • Entertainment areas, fitness facilities, and specially designed spaces for socialization and relaxation

Spaces delivered in Phase #1

Buildings' entrances and interior common spaces, such as the receptions, elevator areas, and restrooms, have been completely transformed and enhanced with new interaction areas outside the offices.

The splendid Cafeteria in Building D was inaugurated in August 2022, offering a generous seating capacity of 190 individuals. Both tenants and visitors are warmly welcomed to savor excellent coffee and comforting flavors of homemade-like food.

Sustainability and health, at the core of YUNITY Park

The YUNITY Park project aligns with Genesis Property's sustainability strategy, which is in line with the 10 principles of the United Nations Global Compact regarding human rights, labor, and environmental protection, as well as the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations.

YUNITY Park is developed and operated in a way that contributes to the significant improvement of the surrounding environment and enhances the quality of life of the entire Genesis Property community, both now and for future generations. This commitment aligns with the company's goal of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2040 through strategies such as reuse, investments in renewable energy production, and sustainable building management.

Moreover, all seven buildings in YUNITY Park, with a total leasable area of 75,000 square meters, including the co-living areas and food hall, are already classified as Class A for energy efficiency. They have achieved the BREEAM - Very Good certification and will also obtain the IMMUNE Building Standard™ - Resilient, with a 5-star rating out of 5.

The IMMUNE™ standard was developed by Genesis Property and recommends an investment in a Healthy by Design® system, consisting of a network of devices, technologies, and specialized equipment implemented at both the building level and in spaces dedicated to emergency situations (quarantine and isolation rooms, emergency storage). The mission of the Healthy by Design® system is to promote the implementation of operational and health rules in the built environment with the help of specialized personnel.

YUNITY Park is designed to bring together local social culture and corporate culture in a unique space.
It is a natural response to the collective aspiration for balance between life and work, bringing nature back into urban spaces, and providing the experience of a healthy and sustainable lifestyle.
