The 2025–2026 academic year is approaching, and most students are already looking to secure accommodation for the next 12 months, favoring modern, safe spaces equipped with attractive facilities. At West Gate Studios, the first and largest private residential campus for young students in Romania, 60% of the 1,700 spots across 850 rooms have already been rented by returning residents who want to keep their place for the upcoming year, even though there are still more than three months left until classes begin. Starting July 1st, West Gate Studios will open the accommodation applications for new residents, covering the remaining 40% of rooms still available.
The company has invested heavily in modernization in recent years and has introduced two new types of rooms to better meet the needs of young residents. These include a premium unit, the Junior Suite Premium, with a surface area of 37 square meters, and the Studio Plus, a studio room equipped with a washing machine, the latter already fully booked for the upcoming year.
This investment is part of West Gate Studios' strategy to align with the principles of the Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) concept, making the campus unique in Romania in this regard. A PBSA project is designed from the ground up with facilities and options tailored specifically to the lifestyle needs of students.

More and more students are trying to book a spot early in rooms specifically designed to match their needs and lifestyle. In addition to the comfort of fully furnished rooms with a balcony, private bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchenette (including a fridge, electric stove, and microwave), as well as air conditioning, internet, and TV, students benefit from easy access to the subway and numerous on-site amenities within the campus. The outdoor swimming pool is open free of charge from Monday to Thursday for residents, who can also invite friends or family members at special rates. Moreover, the community space, Students Cafe - featuring a gaming area, party room, and lounge - regularly hosts student life events, from parties to themed sessions and personal development activities.
Another element that sets West Gate Studios apart is the active involvement of students in campus life, including organizing events and supporting the community. Maintenance is provided at all times, and safety is a top priority, with 24/7 security on site. In addition, students have free access to medical services at the Medicover clinic located within the campus.
